ALL SOULS SATURDAYS

It is a work of charity to pray for the departed. The Scriptures say: "It is a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead that they may be loosed from sin." (2 Machabees 12:46). In the Ruthenian Byzantine Church, five All Souls Saturdays are observed.

Please submit the names of the departed family members for whom we are to pray on the All Souls Saturdays. These names will be placed in the diptych (roll of names of the departed) and will be remembered during the Divine Liturgies.
