St. Basil  the  Great  is  a  parish  of  the Ruthenian Byzantine Catholic Church, a Church  in  full  communion with the Holy Father the Pope of Rome. The parish is part of the Metropolia of Pittsburgh and the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy (Diocese) of Van Nuys.               

St. Basil's  serves  the  faithful  of  San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Saratoga,  MountainView,  Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Los Altos, Palo Alto, San Mateo, Salinas, Monte Sereno, Menlo Park,   Livermore,  Pleasanton  and  Fremont;  all  in  the  San Francisco  Bay  Area.  St. Basil's  also  conducts  an  outreach  in  the Monterey  -  Salinas  area.   For  more  information  on  the  Salinas - Monterey Byzantine Catholic Outreach visit:
